Socotra is an island off the coast of Yemen โ a place where food is shared, never rushed. We brought those rituals with us when we opened on Nostrand: hot bread from the oven, tea poured into small glasses, lamb so tender it surrenders to the spoon.
Every dish is made the way it would be made in our mothers' kitchens. Nothing is frozen. Nothing is rushed.
